I am happy to see that Dasmesh Girls College, Badal, which is the result of my father Sardar Parkash Singh Badal's dream of providing higher education to rural womenfolk, is celebrating 25th year of excellence in academics, sports and cultural activities.
He had envisioned a developed and prosperous society and he knew that it was not possible unless women get educated. Therefore he provided educational facilities in the areas where they were much needed. Dasmesh Girls College, Badal has also been established to provide equality education so that educated and aware women shape the future of the society.
College has been making a significant contribution to the society through value based education. We believe in holistic development. Co- curricular activities at Dasmesh Girls College, Badal remain its life source and students bring laurels to institution by winning medals at State, National and International level in Sports, Cultural activities and NCC.
